I have read some amazing books since I could read but recently I keep finding ones that I've never heard of before and I can't believe I haven't read them yet! The most recent one is everything, everything by Nicola Yoon and it is about a girl that is allergic to the world. You could say to some extent this is a romance book but it is so much more than that. It's about family, entrapment, and betrayal. A must read to all!
Another book I found not too long ago is called our endless numbered days by Claire Fuller and that is so many things that it's hard to describe! It's a brilliant read and keeps you guessing the whole way through. It is a little confusing at times as the narrator is a child but it is brilliantly written.
This next one is a kindle book which is called love to hate you by Anna Premoli. I don't usually like romance novels but this one I couldn't help but love. It was a great read for a holiday and had me laughing along with it!
There are so many books out there that I never really looked at because I stayed with the same authors and they can't be faulted but sometimes it's good to chose books you wouldn't normally pick which is why at the moment my bookcase is bursting with unread books.
Some of my favourite books are quite hard to come by so I thought I'd list some of them here so that you all can enjoy them as much as I did:
Love and decay by Rachel Higginson
Star crossed series by Rachel Higginson
Promises to keep by Shayne Parkinson
And then of course the hunger games series by Suzanne Collins, the Morganville vampires series by Rachel Caine, and the gone series by Michael Grant.

Between shades of gray- Ruta Sepetys
This book is so emotional. The pain and suffering these people went through makes you question humanity. The lengths these people went to to survive and the amount that didn't is astonishing.
'Have you ever wondered what a human life is worth?' that question I never thought of until I read this book and realised how much we take for granted in everyday life. This book is an eye opener so read it you will not regret it!
This book is based on first hand accounts of survivors but all interlinked with one family. This book is not one with a happy ending. Its the truth. That is what makes it so amazing. The truth for the survivors was kept a secret for over 50 years. It's time to stop living in ignorance and know what happened to those who died and those who survived.
I'm not going to say if you have the chance read it because this is one of the books you have to make time for.
I am going to be reading the scorch trials by James Dashner the second book in the maze runner.

I am alive- Cameron Jace (may be spoliers)
Set in the future where teenagers are ranked by numbers which give them what they will be in the future. The numbers start from 5 to 10 even though there has never been a 10. The number 10 is a sacred number in their life but if your number is below 5 then your a monster. If you are a monster then you'll be forced to enter the 'monster show' where you'll fight for 3 days and try and survive the challenges the government forces you to take. If you survive after 3 days then you'll go to fight the carnivore. No body has ever survived the carnivore but will Decca?
This book is pretty good and I would love to read the next ones. I believe this is a 4 out of 5 star book. If you like future books then do read this book.

Hi everyone, I'm very sorry that I haven't been that active at the moment my mocks for GCSE have been very stressful. I have my exams starting next week so I will not be able to do book central for two weeks but on the 14th I will start reading A Christmas Carol seeing as it is December and I am also going to see A Christmas Carol which I'm looking forward too.
Comment below what holiday festivities you are doing.

Silence- Natasha Preston
What a story. Over the course of the book we are given more and more of the back story to Oakley life and why she is silent. When reading you can guess what has happened but you dont want to believe it but the last 3 chapters sent the book into over drive.
My favourite part had to be when they were on holiday. Oakley and Cole's relationship bosomed there and I fell in love with them more and like them I didn't want them to leave. I also loved how the parents were oblivious to their relationship but the siblings seemed to know exactly what was going on before they did. I also liked the way in the first half of the book it was just from Oakley's point of view but then it changed to also Cole's point of view.
I do wish that there had been some more character development on Mia and Jasper as Jaspers comments left me smiling and I felt sorry for Mia and I wish I knew more on what happened with her than being told by Oakley and Cole.
Its a must read to 14+ as any younger you may not understand fully the story. Natasha Preston wrote an amazing heart felt story and made me fall in love with Oakley and Coles relationship and friendship making me want that for myself. I was blown away with the whole concept and the writing itself was fantastic. Do read this- its on kindle for free but you can also get it in paper back.
Comment below what I should read next month.

The maze runner- James Dashner (spoliers may be involved)
The maze runner. I didn't think it would be a good book. The writing in the first chapter wasn't the best however I stuck with it. Throughout I felt it was a bit back and forward between characters however after the night spent in the maze it started to get better. It has a good story line and I will read the next ones in the series but I hope their beginnings are better than this one.
I wish that the book started to pick up quicker than the last few chapters sooner than when Teresa wakes up. I felt a bit annoyed with the ending- Thomas is a smart boy how does he not know a staged rescue?- but also intrigued with what happens next.
I would recommend reading this book and before going to see the movie as you'll understand the movie more- I learnt this with the hunger games (however if you already have then read the book)
This wasn't a long review but their wasn't a lot to write on this book as I'm in two minds about this.
The next book I'm going to read is Silence by Natasha Preston
don't forget to comment below your views on the book or film.

Kissed by an angel- Elizabeth Chadler
A heart wrenching novel about a young girl and boy falling in love and being ripped apart by the courses of nature. Parts bought tears to my eyes as I travelled with Ivy through the struggles she faced. The first eleven chapters take a full circle, starting with their date and ending at the sudden end to their date. Through that time we are introduced to the characters George, Philip, Ivy's mother and her two friends Suzanne and Beth, we are informed of their personality's and relationship to Ivy. Tristan is Ivy's boyfriend and the boy everyone adores.
The book starts as the normal teenager book- popular good-looking boy wants to date the seemingly average girl and they fall in love- however we are soon transported into a more relatable storyline. I must say that even though in some parts it is far fetched the writing for the main story line is incredible. It does enter the supernatural aspects but stays true to reality.
The story takes some dark turns through the middle but by the last chapter the story has filled all the holes and Ivy has solved the mystery and finally it seems Ivy and her friends can be happy again.
A good book, I recommend 12+ to read this book especially if you enjoy mystery/romance.
Starting on the 1st of November I will be reading the maze runner.
Any books you're reading or have read that you find good then comment below and they'll be on the list.

Forgotten- Cat Patrick (book central)
I began this book and couldn't put it down.
It begins with London's notes and then the first chapter. Forgotten is about a teenage girl who has to deal with not knowing her past but knowing her future. It's like a normal teenage girl book she meets a boy, falls in love but its different too. Its about a family that loses their family and life. Its such a good book and a must read to all. Forgotten is something that should be read as it shows the pain that a family can go through and something that happens to normal people. It's a book that should be experienced by all.
The next book I'm starting is Kissed by an angel by Elizabeth Chandler
