Silence- Natasha Preston
What a story. Over the course of the book we are given more and more of the back story to Oakley life and why she is silent. When reading you can guess what has happened but you dont want to believe it but the last 3 chapters sent the book into over drive.
My favourite part had to be when they were on holiday. Oakley and Cole's relationship bosomed there and I fell in love with them more and like them I didn't want them to leave. I also loved how the parents were oblivious to their relationship but the siblings seemed to know exactly what was going on before they did. I also liked the way in the first half of the book it was just from Oakley's point of view but then it changed to also Cole's point of view.
I do wish that there had been some more character development on Mia and Jasper as Jaspers comments left me smiling and I felt sorry for Mia and I wish I knew more on what happened with her than being told by Oakley and Cole.
Its a must read to 14+ as any younger you may not understand fully the story. Natasha Preston wrote an amazing heart felt story and made me fall in love with Oakley and Coles relationship and friendship making me want that for myself. I was blown away with the whole concept and the writing itself was fantastic. Do read this- its on kindle for free but you can also get it in paper back.
Comment below what I should read next month.

The maze runner- James Dashner (spoliers may be involved)
The maze runner. I didn't think it would be a good book. The writing in the first chapter wasn't the best however I stuck with it. Throughout I felt it was a bit back and forward between characters however after the night spent in the maze it started to get better. It has a good story line and I will read the next ones in the series but I hope their beginnings are better than this one.
I wish that the book started to pick up quicker than the last few chapters sooner than when Teresa wakes up. I felt a bit annoyed with the ending- Thomas is a smart boy how does he not know a staged rescue?- but also intrigued with what happens next.
I would recommend reading this book and before going to see the movie as you'll understand the movie more- I learnt this with the hunger games (however if you already have then read the book)
This wasn't a long review but their wasn't a lot to write on this book as I'm in two minds about this.
The next book I'm going to read is Silence by Natasha Preston
don't forget to comment below your views on the book or film.

"What a night"
On Thursday I went to see Mamma Mia and I must say it was one of the best shows I've seen. This was the first time I saw Mamma Mia and I've fallen in love with it. A definite must see.
My favourite part had to be the hen night. I loved all the songs and how they showed the confusion of Sophie's situation through lights, music and movement.
My favourite song varies but the best had to be Dianne Pilkington's the winner takes it all. The powerful song definitely deserved a standing ovation which she received at the end of the night. Another song that also challenges the second place is Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! and voulez vous these songs were accompanied with amazing light and sound techniques.
Finally the end of the night ended with dancing queen where everybody danced including the audience and the main six characters were in fancy costumes that shocked the eyes.
There was only one thing that ruined the night and that was the rudeness of people getting on the train home. People on trains there’s no need to push and shove if you don't get a seat then stand like the rest of us. Also there’s no need to nearly start a fight too!
Who's seen Mamma Mia and what were your views on it? If you haven't I suggest you do!
Who else hates the rudeness that people show nowadays? Comment below with your answers.

how time flies...
I can't believe it's already November. I only have 6 months left at high school then
I start college. Unbelievable. It feels like only yesterday that I started high school.
Nervous as I was, I trembled in my seat at the strict art teacher not wanting to do anything
wrong and now I'm studying for GCSE's and I'm planning what to wear at prom and how I'll get
there. How time flies.
We don't realise how important time is because it's just there. We cannot stop it or slow
it down. All we can do is enjoy it and live in the moment but sometimes we cannot.
Sometimes we have to stop to notice all the things we've let slip by. All the opportunity's.
All the laughs and heartaches. All the friends and family. Time is important and sometimes
we don't realise that before it's too late. How time flies.
Have you ever regretted something so much that you wish scientists had created time travel
and you can go back in time to redo something you felt you could do better? I have. I have
a lot and I shouldn't. I made the decision then and I should stick to it now. There's no way
to change it. As the Disney film frozen said the past is in the past. Sometimes the past should
stay in the past because you cannot change it no matter so why worry?
How time flies.
